From three vineyards, we make our Heathcote Shiraz every year. With each vineyard being in three distinctly different micro-climates within the Heathcote GI, each hand-picked parcel of fruit adds a unique dimension to this wine.
Region: Heathcote
Sub-region: A blend of fruit from three different sub-regions: Colbinabbin (Mount Burrumboot Estate), Toolleen (Dead Horse Hill) and Kimbolton (Coliban Glen Vineyard).
Harvest: late February and mid-March 2022.
Aged: three new French oak puncheons, four 3-year-old American barriques and two 300L Amphoras for 18 months.

Quantity: 426 dozen.
Palate: Deep, inky purple-red in hue, it's all dark fruits on the palate; juicy black cherry, blackberry and dark plum with a hint of spice and leather and earthy undertones. A soft, luscious mid-palate, lovely length with delicate tannin and a soft, lasting finish.
