Handpicked Pinot Noir from a beautiful vineyard in Pipers Creek (Macedon Ranges). Picked on 2 March 2025, the grapes were picked early for sparkling base, and the pressings formed the base for this wine. Fermented in tank for 3 weeks, the wine was racked off lees and aged in four seasoned French barriques. Partial (50%) malolactive fermentation took place to soften the palate and add texture, the wine was bottled in mid-November 2025. No fining or filtering. The wine is floral and aromatic, with hints of strawberry and citrus. Delicate on the palate, it’s bright and perfumed.
